Suzuki Jimny (1998 - 2018) 1.3 JLX Mode 3d Owner Review

In their own words
Having recently moved out into the countryside with no local amenities within walking distance I was stung in January 2018 when we had that impressive snowstorm that completley covered the uk. I felt somewhat trapped with my Mk1 Mazda mx5, not able to pull off the drive. With this in mind I decided it was time to change my car to suit the area I lived in. I have an ongoing theme with cars - lots character, reliable and low cost to fix. With this in mind, like the mx5 the Jimmy fit the bill and I must say I absolutely love it, everything about it, I know the steering isn’t particularly refined but that’s just part of the fun, which is what this cars about in my opinion. It puts a smile on my face every morning when bouncing up and down on the rough country roads during my commute to work, the great ground clearance gives confidence when pulling into tractor worn turf and mud to allow other cars to pass on single lanes. The mpg is acceptable, if you compare it to other old 4x4’s then I’d say it’s damn good. Bring on the winter time! And please snow, lots... I’m looking for a good excuse to drop that stick into 4x4 mode and see the Jimny in its element.
