Suzuki Jimny Soft top (2000 - 2005) 1.3 O2 3d Owner Review

In their own words
It was 2023 and I'd given up hope of finding a convertible Jimny that wasn't crusted to death. Then one popped up locally and after accepting that it'd have to be a project, I bought it. Both roof sections needed replaced and were done easily in the first month. A bit of bodywork patching was needed, which was sorted over a few summer nights with a neighbour and a few beers.
My Jimny now looks the part, new roof, repainted steel wheels, bull bars and side steps and an MxPx sticker for the rear wheel cover. Parts are plentiful but takes a bit of digging to get good parts. The kids love getting dropped to school with the roof down and this certainly turns heads, all for a few grand and a bit of time and TLC to keep it roadworthy.
It's totally basic inside and out, nothing fancy at all about it but there's a certain charm to that. VED is dear and you don't get good mpg but if you're using this as your every day car, your head is cut. This is just for a bit of fun and not to be relied on or else I'd imagine it'd become tiresome very quickly.
