Overview
On looks alone Suzuki’s new Kizashi saloon shows promise. This slick four-door is the Japanese manufacturer’s first UK foray into the so-called D-segment currently dominated by the Ford Mondeos and Vauxhall Insignias of this world. These cars are major players in the fleet sector, but the Kizashi is unlikely to appeal to many fleets for one major reason: there’s only one petrol engine in its line-up.
The Japanese maker has modest sales expectations and is hoping its kit levels will appeal to private buyers looking for value for money.
