Suzuki Swift Hatchback (2010 - 2017) 1.2 SZ-L (Nav) 3d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Yes, the boot could be bigger and easier to use, and the folding rear seats could be cleverer. But I've managed to carry a full set of wheels and tyres without an issue.
Yes, the interior could be a bit more stylish and more plush. But it's a cheap car, and a very well-equipped one at that.
Yes, the steering could offer a touch more feedback. But it's still a relatively old-school, lightweight, chuckable supermini. Those aren't that common anymore. Savour it.
Overall? I'm very impressed with the little Suzuki.
How reliable do you find the car?
It's very telling that the only time this car has given me anything even resembling grief was my fault - I sheared a slider pin on the caliper while changing the front brake pads. Other than that, the car has been totally solid and dependable.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
The Swift is probably the best all-round rival to a MK7 Fiesta. It's nippy and agile enough to be enjoyable, it's just roomy enough inside to be comfortable, it's good-looking, it's very well-equipped, and it's cheap to run.
