In their own words
Overview - The ZC31S is a great car if you look at the overall package, being nimble, quick and lots of fun to drive as well as getting fair economy and having the utility aspects of a daily car
My Experience - I bought mine standard in June 2019 as my new daily / project with 56k miles for £2500 and I really do love it. Stock driving was fun but to really maximise the 31S I modified it with an induction kit, back box delete, remap, light weight alloys (Enkie RPF1's), lowering springs and some decent tyres as well as some asthetic modifications.
Good Points: - Really fun to drive - Good amounts of space for a small car - Excellent value for money - Easy to work on
Not So Good Points: - Weak performance (when compared to actual hot hatches) - Goes through quite a bit of oil if you drive it as intended - Rattles quite a bit in the cabin
Honest Opinion - Personally I don't think you can go wrong with a ZC31S aslong as you know what to expect, being a sports version of a cheap hatchback it was never intended to be a hardcore hot hatch.
It is a blast to drive if you keep the revs up and extract everything from the M16A engine but it will get out paced by most other cars on the road but atleast you will have a smile on your face.
