Suzuki Swift Sport (2006-2011) boot space, practicality and safety
A four-star Euro NCAP rating is good for a car of this size, though not class leading. That said, the list of standard safety equipment is thorough and includes dual front, side and curtain airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, three-point seats for all passengers, an electronic stability programme, anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution and Isofix childseat anchor points.
Security-wise, there’s keyless entry and start (the car senses you approach and immediately unlocks itself – you can keep the fob in a bag or coat) and an immobiliser.
The Swift Sport is only available as a three-door. It’s also fitted with bucket seats, which are larger than those fitted in the standard Swift. That means it can be difficult for passengers to get into the back as they take up more room. The boot’s an average size but easy to get to, however unlike the standard Swift the rear seat is a bench and does not split 60/40, limiting practicality, There are a number of cubbies in the cabin and a decent-sized glovebox.
