Suzuki SX4 Hatchback (2006 - 2014) 1.6 SZ3 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Have had my SX4 1.6 FWD for about 8 years now. It's not a bad car for a small SUV and has been our workhorse throughout. Good points: Plenty of room inside including headroom and has the usual nooks and crannies to store cups / bottles etc. The boot is adequate with (I think) 210 litres of space so enough for a shopping trip though you would struggle if going on holiday. Saying that, the roof bars have come in handy when adding a roof box. The car has a nice aerodynamic shape and still looks relatively modern even for 2023. Generally very reliable and won't let you down 90% of the time. Bad points: Very thirsty when it comes to petrol and you have to keep glancing and the fuel indicator to see how much is left. Mine also broke down after 60,000+ miles with broken gear cable which was a right pain and cost a fair bit to replace. The cabin has lots of hard scratchy plastic that is easily damaged and looks dated and basic compared to modern cars that have touch screens and USB ports. I would recommend this as a basic SUV though nothing outstanding abut this car.
