Suzuki Vitara 1.6 SZ-T (Urban Pack) 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I bought the car as a friend owns the same model and raved about how good it was, with a supposedly unbreakable engine and obvious Japanese reliability. The car is great around town and gets good mpg, is easy to park with its good and clear rear view camera and offers good boot space with its rear seats lowered. HOWEVER, it has relatively poor acceleration and I have found that the most pleasant driving is found at about the 60 to 65mph region which may appear a tad low for the faster driver, who may benefit from purchasing a Honda CRV or equivalent vehicle. The unbraked trailer towing capacity is low at only 400kg as the car is quite lightweight and it really feels it. For power, I wonder if the 1.4 Turbo petrol engine may have been a better choice, especially if carrying multiple passengers, for towing, or generally faster driving. The rear suspension is poor and every bump is felt and much road noise is transferred into the cabin. This does not make it a good car for long journeys. But for short trips and around town driving, it is easy to get into, with its higher stance and it's easy to drive. Also it looks good with the Urban Pack fitted.
