Summary
What does this car say about you?
I imagine not a lot; in fashion terms. It's a good looking car, but there's a lot of choice out there. I picked it for practicality over excitement, on review I'm more than pleased xD
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I was surprised to find that everyone is hugely impressed with my Auris. It's obviously very passenger friendly and the quietness and economy continues to impress. Most admit it has plenty of power, shame it doesn't feel
Would you buy this car again and why?
I never buy the same car twice, but I would recommend it, highly. Just buy it for the right reasons, if you're fashion conscience I think you'll be disappointed. If you want an unwavering work horse, it's ideal.
What are you likely to buy next?
A sports car, hopefully... Toyota FT-86, next year (2012)!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£6,500
When did you buy the car?
September 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Traded in an '03 VW Bora 1.6 S, got 1/5 off the total price of the Toyota.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
...it's a Toyota
What was the dealer like?
Helpful & fast - One of UK's huge Car Supermarkets... just watch them closely; just in case!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Admittedly not as exciting as Focus, Golf or Civic... but highly capable, lots of grip and very stable. Extremely smooth and quiet, decent controls; light but not detached.
What's it like to park?
...tricky. These/all modern hatchbacks are HUGE, especially by comparison to a Corolla from the 80s. Despite being quite large, the visibility is excellent (due to massive windows) and the lightness of controls make life a lot easier than in other cars.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not one.
What's most practical about your car?
Access, size, economy, comfort, flexibility and despite not being sporty has oodles of torque (will easily pull from 3rd in slow traffic).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
All the cubbyholes for miles of storage.
