I gave it back after 4 days so hmmm let me think. Is sooner buy a horse and cart.

Back to BMW/Mercedes.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not really. They added reversing sensors (which didn't work) and confirmed they would add iPod connection and then backed out once I bought the car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed something reliable and quick.

What was the dealer like?

Good until you pay them.

What's it like to drive?

Oh dear it's a dog. You may think 180bhp and 295lb ft sounds a lot but it's the worst engine I've ever driven. Noisy (the whole cabin vibrates on ideal), rattly. There is power but it's not fast. BMW 320d has less power but it doesn't feel it. I've driven Ford Ka's that feel most responsive! Driving position like a people carrier, unpleasant gear change. It really is an horrible car.

What's it like to park?

Would have been ok if the parking sensors had have worked properly.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Electrics were an MOT failure despite approved car. Defective rear parking sensors. Defective cruise control.

What's most practical about your car?

Spacious inside. Boot average.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Keyless go is surprisingly useful.
