Toyota Avensis Hatchback (1997-2003) interior, tech and comfort

(change model)
Lacks the ergonomics of more modern cars, with some fiddly controls. Driving position isn’t ideal. The seat is adjustable, but you never really get comfortable.
The massed ranks of cabbies will testify to Avensis’ interior space and comfort. Loads of head and legroom, and it’ll fit three in the back comfortably, for short trips.
