Toyota Avensis Hatchback (2003 - 2008) 1.8 VVT-i T3-X 5d Owner Review

I bought this car because I wanted something safe, reliable, and with plenty of interior space, and big boot. I came from a 3 series BMW which are pretty small inside, and the boots aren’t very well designed. The Avensis has more cabin room, more leg room in the passenger seat, and rear seats. Im 5”11 and when my drivers seat is adjusted for me to drive, I can sit in the back behind the drivers seat with my knees at least 5/6 inches away from the seat. Plenty of foot room too. Boot is huge, I wish I had it when our daughter was using the pram, it was a squeeze getting it in the 3 series boot, but in this you can literally just pick it up and plonk it in without it even touching the sides! Seats easily fold down too for carrying big items. Overall this car does exactly what it says on the tin, and really well. Had it 8 months now and I don’t regret my purchase, and I don’t miss the constant oil leaks on my driveway from my old BMW!
