Summary
What does this car say about you?
Probably that I'm a bit dull or very sensible.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it - very comfortable refined cruiser.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes she is a great car and even after a 2 hour journey I feel comfortable (much better seats than my old BMW). Plenty of choice about and I got a nice 1 owner low mileage main dealer FSH.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably another one of these but I'm hoping to get a good 4/5 years out of this one!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,000
When did you buy the car?
July 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Car needed a couple of tyres and the aircon wasn't working also minor dent on rear but got price reduced to £5,000 (book was £6500) + my 12 year old BMW.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a diesel as changed jobs and went from using train to driving 100 miles every day so needed decent mpg and reliability.
What was the dealer like?
Friendly enough and let me have a good test drive. Unclear over the MOT due date though and I drove 100 miles to see the car before I found out! Gave me a decent price on my part-ex though.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Awesome and it's almost like driving a petrol GTI. The power is phenomenal and at 70mph in 6th gear you are barely 2000 rpm so very quiet and refined.
What's it like to park?
Easy with the reversing sensors but a bit hard to judge where the front is!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The air-con wasn't working when I bought her and had to have 2 pipes replaced for £400. Front tyres were worn and I had a new battery fitted so spent maybe £700 on her but.
What's most practical about your car?
Large boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Too many to say really but the cruise control is probably my favourite.
