Toyota Avensis Saloon (2009 - 2018) 2.0D Business Edition Plus 4d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
My Avensis was a purchase of the head, not the heart. After a number of less than reliable Jeeps I bought a Toyota because I believed them to be one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. To date I've been 100% right...
I had to wait a month or so to get the version I wanted in the pearl white colour and have since added interior mats, a boot liner, a towbar and had the rear windows tinted. Everything else is exactly as it came out of the factory and has been faultless.
I went for the manual diesel that costs only £30 a year VED. I just wish I'd have gone for the auto version instead.
The paint feels pretty thick and the ride soft and cushy. The performance is 'fine' although overtaking other cars on country roads will make you wish you bought a car with a more powerful engine.
And as the car approaches 3 years old I'm not sure whether to keep or change it. Keep it? Its as good as a normal car can get. Change it? I rather like the new Prius in Tokyo Red... Certainly I have no plans to revert to the Jeep brand.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
It's an outstanding and very comfortable car. Roomy and has been totally reliable.About their car
