Not the sort of car which craves attention - but they are impressed with its capabilities when they see what it can do
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - Fuel economy, reliablity, easy to drive, practical, spacious and.......SAFETY
What are you likely to buy next?
Another one of same model - as the later Avensis is not as good IMO. Toyota have dropped the ball in the last few years. Still good - its just that the prevoous cars are better

Ex demo with 10K miles - Brand new model so scarce to get hold of at the time
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Liked the look of it and research indicated a good choice

Fine - but I did just walk in and say "That one"

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good visibility, easy to drive. no engine noise (diesel) but a fair bit of road noise - Ride can be a bit jittery but always acceptable on a long journey. All in all, a fine compromise considering how much they cost.
What's it like to park?
Pretty good visibility - no problems

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Lots of things have been replaced under warrenty. But nothing has gone wrong. Only Tyres, brakes and brake pads have been replaced
What's most practical about your car?
The boot - Excellent practical size. Also, if you put the backseats forward, you can slide a large plasma TV in width wise and upright. Man from Currys was impresssed and remarjed that he's not seen a "normal" estate be able to do that.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY The reason I'm writing this review is because me and my son walked away from a really nasty front end smash on black ice. I'm really grateful to be alive and unharmed. Every time I look at my son I realise he's still here, and thats partly because he was sitting in a really strong car with 7 airbags. I can't stress enough. This car is made to be very strong in an accident and that's why I'm able to write this.
