Toyota Avensis Tourer (2003 - 2008) 2.2 D-4D T180 5d (06) Owner Review

Thirstier than my old ford focus petrol, okay its quick when you get past 1st gear, but having said that even on long steady journeys still only does 31 mpg for a diesel that's horrendous. Have check all the usual, EGR valve cleaned, filters cleaned, serviced etc and still MPG is bad. Very comfy and quiet, soaks up all the bumps you throw at it, and the stereo is pretty good with built in sat nav. Overall I am happy, but disappointed that a diesel would be this bad on fuel.
