My 12.5 year old Avensis Estate has been totally reliable, all electrics function as new. Still on the original exhaust, only changed tyres and brake pads. The cvt transmission is so smooth, brakes are powerful with the electronic handbrake easy to operate. The space with seats down is huge, ideal for families, rear seats can be split into 2 or 1 folding. My car has leather seating which has worn very well, the electronic memory has been very useful.
