I have been driving Toyotas since 1989, previously owned anything and everything. I have had Seven Avensis Estates. I would be reluctant to change to any other brand. Al;l brand have problems. Look at VW Audi, the company need to lie to sell cars, like many others. If yea sear any make model reviews you find all have issues at some point. The motoring press don't like Toyota because they don't they suit the the egotistical journalist that like to bang on about a real drivers car. Toyota is not for car snobs You can only drive like e a real driver if you drive like a total plonker and If you are the shaky materialistic type that thinks that a car makes you somehow a better person and need a Prestige badge on your car to impress your neighbours and friends, then it's like that you won't want a Toyota. Yes they blend in and don't get noticed but there's nothing wrong with stealth.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Toyota Avensis 1.8 v-matic TR tourer 5dr 2012 - 145 BHP Automatic Gearbox with Paddles on Steering wheel and Manual gear select option. Sat Nav, Blutooth, USB socket. Parking Sensors, Folding Mirrors, Key less entry and Start, rear camera, 17inch alloy wheels, Lights On Automatic, Wipers On Automatic, Anti Skid. Great Boot / load area, lots of storage compartment under the boot floor. Staggering specification. I love driving this car and so does my wife and she drives it more that I do. We used to do lot of motorway driving back and forth to the south coat and got great MPG, sometimes 42~43. Round the town 35~37. Diesel is NO USE if you only drive local, particulate filter problems will really hurt you . Companies are dumping diesels like crazy. Only problem we had was push button parking brake, sorted under warranty, warranty was extended fro 5 ~ 7 years fro £250. I love Toyota Dealers and have done for over 20 years, always helpful.About their car
