Toyota Avensis Tourer (2009 - 2015) 1.8 V-matic TR 5d Owner Review

For it's age, the tech, which includes touch screen, in built navigation and Bluetooth technology for phone calls and music along with USB capabilities are really good. It's large workhorse ideal for lugging the family, dogs and big loads in its cavernous boot. It has been reliable and with just an alternator replacement needed in the 4 years I have had it. On the downside there is some cabin noise, its largely an unrefined driving experience and it lacks torque. It can cruise well on the motorway but struggles on any incline to the point of it just recommending going down to a lower gear which just increases the engine noise and does not allow any further acceleration.
