What does this car say about you?

Getting old, getting boring but also I always want to arrive at my destination.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I don't care what they think. We are all different and like/want different things at different times in our life.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, it is difficult to quantify why as it is a really good car that does everything well. It is hard to fault but it is just a car. It is clinical and efficient and sometimes I would just like a car with a bit more character.

What are you likely to buy next?

Probably a soft roader/4x4 with a decent ride (not rock hard) As I have Ankylosing spondylitus and am find it harder getting in/out of cars with poor door width openings and too low to the ground. Maybe Freelander or similar.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, we think so. It was in December and the dealers still have targets to meet.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Reliability fuel efficiency for non-diesel.

What was the dealer like?

First class service, excellent trade-in. All properly prepared prior to collection.

What's it like to drive?

Easy to drive being CVT and although slow pulling away it does perform well once going. The 1.8 engine is quite peppy and the 7-speed gearchange is generally seamless although occasionally it can get caught out. Handling is good although it is not the sort of car that you want to push. The ride is reasonably good however it can get caught out on these poor british roads.The engine is very quiet but this makes you notice road roar more - maybe different tyres and it wouldn't be noticeable.

What's it like to park?

Easy to park with rear view camera although this depends on weather because of water on the camera lens and reflections at night time.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing gone wrong. Starts and runs perfectly. Unfortunately, it doesn't really put a smile on my face but does do everything asked of it and does it all well. It just lacks a bit of personality.

What's most practical about your car?

Boot space and touch screen navigation.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Touch screen Sat-Nav. Although not user friendly once you know how to use it it's excellent.
