A beautifully understated baby Lexus. It’s not as much fun as the 2017 BMW 320i M Sport Touring I had, but:
The ride is better The gearbox is not notchy - very slick in fact No rattles, squeaks or leaks Duel Climate functions perfectly Quiet, refined cruiser Torquey, flexible, smooth 2.0D4D Low VED (£140) First Class level of customer service from Toyota Service depts Lexus looks Badge credibility Toyota extended warranty available on Toyotas up to 12 years old (as of March 2019) Makes you feel good when passing far younger Range Rover Evokes stranded on hard shoulders...
How reliable do you find the car?
Performance and refinement below the age of my car. Toyota also have confidence. Having bought the car at a non-franchises dealer with a FSH (not all Toyota), I took the car to a Toyota dealership for a summer health check (£15). My car passed with flying colours - all boxes were green - and I’ve subsequently bought a 2yr Toyota warranty for my ten year old car, adding to the ultimate peace of mind that I have bulletproof reliability and engineering integrity. All for less than £5.5k....!Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
So many gizmos. A demo, then one owner of 9yrs car. Panoramic roof is lovely. Everything works. Full leather with heated front seats, even the steering wheel moves out of the way when you get out of the car (memory electric seat and steering wheel setting memories for two drivers). The car feels well planted and substantial. It really does feel like a Lexus, and that can only be a good thing. The 2.0D4D engine is beautifully smooth, Torquay and refined. High quality, quiet cabin. The lumbar support is excellent. No issues with electronic hand break but this is easy to use as will auto release when driving.About their car
