I like reliable and dependable.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
No real comments other than why I have moved away from Volkswagen which I have to explain.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Most certainly yes, in fact if it was not for the recession I would have 6 or seven now instead of just 3.
What are you likely to buy next?
Same again being Toyota Avensis 2.0D4D TR Tourer Manuel.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes as I searched Parkers, AutoTrader etcetera for the best deal and although I had to travel a fair distance.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Was fed up with reliability and durability of the Volkswagen Passat’s I was running since they introduced the new B6 / 3C model in 2006 and wanted something better now have 3 Toyota Avensis and my main regret to date is that I did not switch to Toyota sooner like when Volkswagen changed the Passat in 2006 which would have saved me a lot of grief.
What was the dealer like?
This dealer was very good as I bought the car unseen over the telephone and they described it accurately unlike one which I bought a bit nearer home where the dealer had to agree to pay to have paintwork done before I would accept car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nice to drive but its geared a bit high so tend to need lower gears more than I expect also do not like the position of the handbrake button and would prefer it placed a bit higher on dash also a auto hold feature on handbrake would be preferred.
What's it like to park?
No problems.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A couple of minor faults soon fixed by dealer under warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
It does its job nothing springs to mind.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Have no favourite gadget is well equipped and not lacking any must haves which is what I would expect from this trim level.
