Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm not rich but I appreciate a good little car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They seem to like it and are surprised when they can sit in it and have more room inside than some bigger and more expensive cars.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definitely consider another Aygo but I'd need to check out the competition.
What are you likely to buy next?
I reckon I'll keep this one for now though. If it aint broke...

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£7,000
When did you buy the car?
August 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think so, the list price was a few hundred pounds more than what I paid and I got a cheap deal on the first two years servicing.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a safe car with good handling, low running costs for tax, insurance, fuel etc. I looked at several other vehicles but the Aygo had the best mixture of the features that I was looking for.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer tried to say that the car was "completely different" from the Peugeot and Citroen version, which is a lie. They also weren't very good at advising me on accessories such as the rev counter. The car was also not cleaned after I left it in for a service.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Can't fault it. The Fiat Panda has a more fluid ride but the Aygo has a better handling. I can slither up snowy hills that have BMW X5s spinning their wheels. The handling is very safe and secure.
What's it like to park?
If you can't park an Aygo then you really should think about taking the bus.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I stalled once and the engine idled at a very low speed and revved very lethargically. I got it home and left it to sit and then went back to drive it to the garage but the engine had cured itself. I also needed to have felt washers fitted around the seat-belt anchors. None of the "usual" Aygo faults seem to have got to my car yet though
What's most practical about your car?
Surprisingly spacious inside, though the back windows doo seem a bit on the small side. Surprisingly comfortable to drive - I drove it from Aberdeen to London on a single tank of petrol and didn't have a sore bum at the end of the day.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Wicked engine!
