Summary
What does this car say about you?
That i need a small frugal town car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's cute and so cheap to run with £20 tax, and really low insurance, and as I've also converted it to LPG which is half the price of petrol they are impressed by how very little it actually costs to run it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Oh yes, but not till I've got my moneys worth out of this one!
What are you likely to buy next?
For town use and my work (as a district nurse) then it can only be another Aygo. However I will be intrigued to compare my miles per gallon on my next one, as though this current one is very frugal compared to most cars, I don't actually get nearly the petrol consumption figures that they claim, only early to mid 40's for town use, (rather than the claimed 51mpg) and less than that when I'm running on LPG of course.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,500
When did you buy the car?
February 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I thought so, fantastically low mileage (only 9K) so at the time felt like the price was good. On reflection now though, think I might have knocked a few hundred more off.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted the cheapest thing to run that I could find that would also be well equipped and reliable!
What was the dealer like?
Helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's great around town, and quite likes country roads, though I have to admit that the ride is very firm. You get used to it but, then when I drive our family car- a Toyota Avensis verso, I am reminded just how firm and not especially comfy the Aygo is in comparison. It's really not a motorway car to be honest. I have come across people who use their's to regularly do lot's of motorway driving, but I have to wonder why on earth they bought an Aygo for that kind of motoring!
What's it like to park?
Brilliant
