Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I have no interest in cars, which couldn't be further from the truth but never mind.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My Mom and my Nan like it so....enough said.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not even if my life depended on it. It nearly does what you ask of it some of the time but i'm afraid to say, someone else can pretend to enjoy it come christmas.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'm very tempted by a new Mini Cooper or a Vauxhall Astra Sport Hatch.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£8,000
When did you buy the car?
November 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
I don’t really feel as though I got a deal as such. I just went in, brought it and left.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
First car. I wanted something cheap to run and insure.
What was the dealer like?
The salesman was very helpful and cheerful. The rest of the staff just seemed like they'd rather be at home......who can blame them!!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's about as exciting to drive as it is to look at, so not very. It handles as well as you could expect it too, by which I mean, if you point the wheel that way, it will go that way, nothing more. It doesn't really have a lot of power low down or high up for that matter but it does ok once you get it going.
What's it like to park?
Couldn't be easier. I'm not a tall person and it's a weird sensation not being able to see the front of the car but knowing where it is when you come to park. No scrapes yet!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I have had a new clutch put in after it started to make a very weird noise and was occasionally hard to get into second gear. I had the glove box lid replaced 3 times as it kept coming open whilst driving or the catch just gave up!! The trim feels like it's not attached to anything above 50mph (if and when it gets there) and there is dodgy wiring somewhere as when put the brakes on hard or corner harder than normal you can hear a buzzing coming from around the stereo. Also it sounds like there are no seals on the doors half of the time.
What's most practical about your car?
It costs next to nothing to run, tax and insure. I have never had below 55mpg and it regularly exceeds 70mpg....I'm not exactly a slow driver either!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I do like the BlueTooth set-up but not enough to forgive the rest of the car.
