Toyota C-HR SUV (2017 - 2023) Design 2.0 VVT-i Hybrid 184hp auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Bought it as it doesn't match the normal boring cars that I've previously owned. With the 2 litre engine it is a relaxing car on a long drive, without a penalty at the pumps. Average mpg is about 50, used purely for short trips this drops to 45mpg, will manage the high 50s on a longer run and will even nudge 65+ if you are a little bit careful. I have managed to see 99+ on a short, mainly downhill journey but that's cheating.
It is best to consider it a 2+2 if you're a tall driver, although there is a surprising amount of room in the slightly claustrophobic rear, and the boot isn't the largest. It does suit what I bought it for, a car for myself and my wife with occasional room for 2 in the back. It is surprisingly quick, handles well and does bring back a touch of boy race to this OAP.
How reliable do you find the car?
Suffered a flat 12V battery due to little use due to Covid, AA came and jumped it. Now have a booster pack just in caseDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
The 2 litre engine helps overcome the CVT weakness of revs rising when you put your foot down.About their car
