-
Economy
Value
Reliable car, good performance, costs 'normal'. Extra fun over similarly-priced alternatives raises value rating.
Costs
Only costs have been servicing through main dealers - far from astronomical price.
-
On the road
Driving
Comfortable cruiser - as good as 'family saloon' for daily commute, but can be fun 'round the corners.
Performance
Cruises well, goes 'round corners well; accelerates faster than expected, although can be discrete when needed.

Living with it
Reliability
Nothing fails or falls off. Toyota club includes RAC membership if you do run out of petrol.
Image
New angular model looks newer, but doubt this 'shark-nosed' version will age as badly. Appearance a little dull, perhaps, but fast and reliable enough without the need for over-cooked body kit.
Comfort
Seats good; rear head/legroom slightly cramped. Road noise higher than family saloon, but far from unbearable.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm, immobiliser, deadlocks and flashing red lights all help deter thieves.
Service
Staff were slightly dismissive following last service; other than that, no problems.
