Toyota Celica Coupe GT 3d (1995/N) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A little pricey considering the alternatives out there. Ones with the 3 strut spoiler and sideskirts tend to fetch more money at sale.
Costs
Average for a Japanese car, although mine's an import hence buying from a dealer costs more. However, had it for 2 years and never had a thing go wrong.

On the road
Driving
Nice to drive - I had the superstrut suspension model which hugged corners well, although you've really got to rev the engine to get the best performance.
Performance
Sounds fantastic, and accelerates better with a performance air filter and exhaust. However, not great from a standing start. Good acceleration once at motorway cruising speed.

Living with it
Reliability
Fantastic reliability - I can't fault it.
Image
Whilst it won't blow away the likes of Skylines or Imprezas, it still gets a lot of looks.
Comfort
The missus complains about the hard ride but I love it.

Security and Service
Security
Central locking and deadlock on boot but mine didn't come with an alarm.
Service
Servicing is a nightmare for imports as my local Toyota dealer won't touch it, so I have to go to a specialist.
