What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends loved it and so did I. Neighbours / work colleagues also loved the way it looked and were impressed with it. Family didnt like it because they didnt want me driving a sports car and because it looks fast.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Reliability even with everythig I threw at the engine and gearbox it stayed in one piece. Thats Japanese design for you. Great to drive, it made me smile everytime I left my house and drove it.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looks great from almost every angle, powerful engine, even the VVTi with 140bhp, comfortable, road presence, good base for aftermarket upgrades or even as standard. Easy to drive and always got me excited everytime I left my house and drove it.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Civilised in town and a treat when taken to the limit on track. Predictable handling with good feedback to the driver through the steering wheel and seats. Powerful engines mean less need to change gears constantly. I loved driving this car. Steering could be sharper but not by much. Gear changes are smooth but new users might find it difficult selecting first gear and getting reverse instead, due to the configuration of it. Easy to figure out and remember though. Throttle is responsive and clutch is light enough for stop-start daily driving.
What's it like to park?
With electric mirrors and good rear visibilty parking was'nt a problem. Basically if your someone who is competent at what you do, youll be fine. Steering is light but not devoid of any feeling when parking. Clutch is light.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Well maintained cars should have no problems. Watch out for wheel bearings with cars that have been fitted with larger than normal wheels. Pre-facelift cars like mine (before 2003 i think), the engines are sometimes prone to using up a fair bit of oil. Check oil levels every week or so before you drive. I got around this by swapping a 2004 VVTi engine in place.
What's most practical about your car?
A surprisingly large boot once the unessesary plastics were removed. could squeeze 5 people into the car if needed. Back seats folded down.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Leather bucket seats (very comfortable), sunroof and climate control.
