Toyota Celica Coupe 1.8 VVTi 3d (2002/52) Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
-
Economy
Value
Quite expensive for the finish of the interior, and I have the 2003 model which is supposed to be better!
Costs
Reasonable servicing costs, although 10,000 mile services are becoming a rarity. I suspect the replacement will have just 20k servicing.

On the road
Driving
Up to modern standards.
Performance
Lacks torque in everyday driving. The 190 is no better.
-
Living with it
Reliability
So far so good, but I am having alloys replaced under warranty for 'blistering', not good enough Toyota on a 17 month old car.
Image
Bit flash, but I bought it so what does that say about me?
Comfort
Comfortable seating, but why no lumber support? Modest range cars have this.

Security and Service
Security
Seems up to usual standards - deadlocks etc.
