Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hopefully says that I have good judgement, taste and fine engineering!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They were a little surprised that I bought it - but now they have seen it and been in it they really appreciate it for what it is! They are even thinking of ways to fund their own purchase of one ...
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, in principle. Sadly Toyota stopped making them in 2006. I think there could still be a market for them. I can't believe I haven't owned a Toyota before now!
What are you likely to buy next?
Haven't thought that far ahead. I like the look of the Alfa Romeo GT JTDm. But before that it will probably be a Toyota Avensis TDi of some sort. Very impressed with Toyota.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Sharp steering, easy to place on bends. Supple suspension for a sports coupe. Smooth engine. Cruises well in 6th. Does need to be revved hard to make it shift - but engine stays smooth all the way up. Managed a combined figure of over 41 mpg on the last fill up. Nice to relax and just cruise. Boy racer days long gone!
What's it like to park?
Turning circle seems ok. Reversing is not too bad, but wing mirrors need to be adjusted to accurately position car. Because you sit quite low, you can't 'look down' on where you are reversing. But not a real problem, just need to learn best way.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only had a few days, so too early to tell. But I have already driven 600 miles with no problems!
What's most practical about your car?
Seeing as it is a sports coupe, it's difficult to say! Surprising amount of luggage room and also comfort in the front seats. Just to be clear on front seat space - I am a solid 6'4" tall and I have enough leg room and plenty of headroom. In fact at least as much as a VW Passat that I also drive!!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
6 speed box? Standard stereo? Just loving the whole thing really!
