-
Economy
Value
You get a lot of car for the money, including Traction + Stability + Climate control.
Costs
Toyota servicing is quite costly but is a must, even though the car is bullet proof.
-
On the road
Driving
A little noisy over 80mph, good solid fun otherwise.
Performance
Likes to be revved hard, take it over 6200 rpm and you fly. Low torque at the bottom end of the rev range.

Living with it
Reliability
Toyota are renowned for their reliability, this is no exception.
Image
Looks as fresh now as it did in '99. With the Celica being discontinued in '06, it will never be better to own one.
Comfort
Slight discomfort on long journeys, those in the back suffer due to the sloping roof and limited leg room.
-
Security and Service
Security
Well equipped. Key fob failed to disengage the alarm on several occasions, persistence in the end won the day.
