Toyota Corolla Hatchback 2.0 XLD 5d (1993/L) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Worth the money you pay for it these days. Very cheap to buy. Got my one for £400
Costs
Car costs are usually quite good. Service costs are okay. The cars got great fuel economy (40-45 mpg). Parts can cost a lot from the dealers worth while picking parts up from second hand sellers get them for affordable prices.

On the road
Driving
Not bad, you always feel like you have total control over the car.
Performance
Lacks luster, a lot slower compared to newer diesels, but same kind of fuel economy as the newer ones, overall isn't that bad for a old skool diesel for it's time.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable car, I haven't had any major concerns with it just general wear and tear for its age.
Image
What image? Isn't a talked about car not to well known for this model type, but this model can be done up to look the business if that's what your after.
Comfort
Nothing special usual comforts from it's time quite standard. Five people can be sat in the car without to much hassle.

Security and Service
Security
Not very good, but the car isn't hot property for anyone either so I think your pretty safe owning one.
Service
Service isn't that bad, but Toyota dealers are quite hard to find. Only a one or two of them around in your area.
