Toyota Corolla Hatchback (2002 - 2006) 1.4 VVT-i T2 3d (02) Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
This is my second Corolla. It is a basic model with just 3 doors and the 1.4 petrol engine. It does have alloys though.
In a nutshell this will serve pretty much everyone who is looking for transport well.
It is cheap to run, never seems to break and is roomy and comfortable inside. I have transported quite heavy and bulky items over long distances in it.
It seems to never get below 40.5mpg (on the display, not measured brim to brim) and it's quite peppy around town and not too loathsome on the motorway.
It handles quite well, the seats are supportive and it is all very logical.
If you want a vehicle that you can just use and not worry about, this is for you.
I have also had the T-Sport version of this car.
Apart from a 6 speed gear box and a spoiler there's very little different to the way it looks, both inside and out. In that respect it is a bit of a Q car.
In fact, I can barely tell much difference between the 2 on a day-to-day basis, apart from when you floor it and instead of changing gear it will just keep accelerating and rasp its way up to 8200rpm.
Minor issues such as the stereo buttons being a bit of a stretch to reach, so steering wheel control or a column control would have been a nice touch.
