Toyota Corolla Hatchback (2002 - 2006) 1.4 VVT-i T3 5d (02) Owner Review

Reliability was the key factor for buying this car, and I am pleased to say that it has not let me down. Bought the car as a stop gap, but going to keep it for a while as it is much better than expected. Performance wise it is not going to win any medals, but it is quicker than my wife's 12 month old Honda Jazz and returns the same mpg even with 94000 miles on the clock. Fits the three kids in the back ok and the boot is plenty big enough to carry enough luggage when required. Mine is a two owner car with full main dealer history, so well looked after mechanically and I think this is important for these engines. When looking fro the car there were some cheap ones for sale, but were not looked after mechanically and it showed; however plenty of good ones for about a grand so for that money you can't go wrong. Good solid practical 5 door, 5 seat car for the money and more interesting than a boring Golf, Astra or Focus.
