Economy
Value
I paid £10k for a 5 month old 1.6 T3 with 6k miles up so perhaps not a fair assessment.
Costs
Only needed the 20k mile service so far - £170 with pollen filter change.

Driving
Good all round. Brakes particularly re-assuring. Goes round corners well despite sitting a bit higher up than a Focus or Mazda 3.
Performance
The best 0-60 figure for any comparable car in the class - Astra, Golf, Focus, Mazda3 etc all fail to beat this car in the standing sprint but the VVTI engine is a joy as you move up the rev range. In 5th, 80 becomes 90 with so little effort.

Living with it
Reliability
I have done 13k miles in 5 months with not even any oil used.
Image
The much smarter face lifted car looks like a cross between an A3 and Pug 307. Alloys and side skirts make the T3 a little more interesting.
Comfort
Good driving position - I am 6'4. Boot space good for class. Engine becomes noticeable on good roads over 60 and on poor roads over 75.

Security and Service
Security
No alarm on the T3. Everything else like deadlocks etc.
Service
Local garage exceptional.

Other
Drive this car in the dark on an unlit road - depending on your height you might find that the dash has an annoying reflection.
