Economy
Value
Better value than competitors when buying used.
Costs
Pricey to insure and a bit thirsty - but only to be expected.

Driving
A lot of fun to drive, fantastic trick engine, secure handling sounds great. Far too low geared in 6th, though.
Performance
Engine comes alive at 6800 rpm, but could do with a bit more torque at times.

Living with it
Reliability
Not broken down, but a few problems (see below). However, oil's not needed topping up in 6,000 miles and hasn't degraded at all - very impressive
Image
Looks good in the right colour with the T-Sport bodykit - but it's still a Corolla!
Comfort
Appallingly uncomfortable driving position. Relationship between seat, pedals and wheel is dreadful and insufficient adjustment wheel can easily obscure dials.

Security and Service
Security
Has deadlocks, alarm and immobiliser.
Service
The dealer has been very, very good

Problems and Ownership

Other
Ex-Toyota car bought at 10 months old. Squeaks and rattles from interior shrieking brakes. Various noises from mechanicals have needed investigating and radio console doesn't fit and generally below par - especially for a Toyota.
