Value
For the money there are better hot hatches.
Costs
All very reasonable.

On the road
Driving
With Toyota lowering springs it feels crisp, stable and accurate at 80% effort. Push harder and it understeers, there is no throttle adjustability and no real feedback through the steering wheel. Not very involving. Wet weather grip is particularly poor.
Performance
Pulls cleanly from low revs and both goes and sounds good in the narrow power band (6200-8000rpm). Between 3000 and 6200 rpm however it is noisy and gutless.

Living with it
Reliability
No major issues although a few interior squeaks and rattles.
Image
It won't draw any attention at least.
Comfort
Lowering springs firm up the ride but it is still acceptable. Everything is easy to use and the seats are comfortable if not particularly supportive. Engine is OK in town but buzzy at motorway speeds.
