Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I’ve been very happy since buying the car and I think it will be the right car for me and my family for many years ahead. It moves smoothly and efficiently and it is really comfortable and effortless to drive. The kids love it and it will be a great “dad taxi” (well, every taxi is a Corolla estate these days!) The full hybrid feature gives you cheaper urban and suburban travel without messing about with plugs and chargers and is quiet and effective. I would not go for GR sport trim personally because you’re not getting anything over the design level except 18” wheels that will be curbed more easily and smashed on potholes on British roads, some stitching on the steering wheel and seats, but no extra performance. I opted for the 2.0 litre and I’m glad I did, the engine feels powerful enough and capable, especially when combined with the hybrid motor. Love the keyless entry and the other extras, adaptive cruise control takes the sting out of motorway journeys. There’s even the slightly spooky experience of letting the car parallel park or reverse park itself, which is a leap of faith to begin with as the wheel rotates and all you need to do is cover the brake and shift the drive selector. I wouldn’t trust it all the time, just doing it yourself on the mirrors and the reversing camera is more than sufficient. Overall this is just the car I was after and more, and I personally think these estates are a more attractive option for a family of four than an SUV, better value, better driving and economy, better aesthetics and better size for U.K. roads in general.

How reliable do you find the car?

I very much doubt that anything will go wrong on this car for years to come.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Plenty of extra features at design trim and I would have been impressed even with icon, let alone GR sport which I feel is undesirable on British roads with 18 inch wheels, and excel which is going to be nicer still but won’t really change that much.
