In their own words
Having just read a bizarre one-star review here, I felt moved to offer my own. I don't recognise any of the bad experiences described. my 2-litre version with 180 hp is surprisingly fast and sharp-handling, has given me over 53 mpg over 7000 miles, glides silently and smoothly round the town and on B roads, and is a perfectly comfortable cruiser on A roads and motorways. The adaptive cruise control works brilliantly to take most of the effort out of motorway driving - on the default setting the minimum distance from the car is perhaps a bit conservative, but it can be made shorter in the settings. The interior is solid with a great steering wheel and driving position, with no rattles or squeaks that I have noticed. The infotainment is a bit dated but Apple CarPlay works just fine. The front seats are amazingly comfortable, and it's very practical - we've moved a lot of furniture around in it, and our large dog loves the space in the back. In short its at least twice as good as the Audi Q3s which we have run for the last few years, for quite a lot less money. My only criticism is that on rough motorway surfaces there is a fair bit of tyre roar in the cabin - but on smoother surfaces the car is just as quiet as the Audi used to be. And I also think that it looks great, especially from the front. My guess is that the 2 litre option is the better choice, as it gives it more overtaking power on the motorway. I recommend it without hesitation.
