If you drive this car everyday it probably won't kill it's battery., though odds on the tail lights will mist up during the winter months. You can get an uprated gasket set from the states to solve this. It's got 4 seats though you'll have to amputate the legs of any back seat passengers to get them to fit. The car drives nicely and the gearbox is good. The car is very low strung and quite difficult to get in and out of if you're not as flexible as you used to be. Fuel consumption varies between 15-20 around town but easily achieves 40+ on a run. All in all great to drive (if it will start ) but not very practical to live with.
How reliable do you find the car?
Car eats batteries if not used everyday. Well known problem with the uk alarm fitted , which Toyota uk ignores. Misting tail lights due to wafer thin gaskets letting in water. Had to take out lights and dry them out for MOT. Another well known problem.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
A car that won't start because it's flattened it's battery yet again is of no use to man or beast. I never knew if it was going to start. Drove 300 miles and 4 days later battery completely flat. Per toyota no problem.About their car
