If you want a great fun coupe that is hugely engaging to drive but won't cost a fortune to run, you want a GT86.
It's not really practical although you can get one full-size suitcase in the boot, rear seats are only for very very short journeys but better than other 2+ sports cars, I've had 4 people in the car once.
It can be hand-full on wet greasy roads but on dry B roads, the handling is exceptional. Low center of gravity shows on twisty b-roads. Owned an Audi S3 chipped to 255bhp but so boring to drive compared to this car.
Servicing is reasonable, Boxer engine is lumpy & thirsty round town and wants to be revved, seats are perfect as is the driving position, cabin is okay, sporty but not luxury. It's an old school fun rwd car. sports car, Only gripe is, trying to select stuff on the pretty naff entertainment center is a stretch for the driver seat. Flat spot at 3000rpm that can be sorted with an induction kit but you can drive round that.
It's a bargain sports car.
