Toyota GT86 (2012 - 2021) 2.0 2d Owner Review

In their own words
We bought this to replace my Wife's 2002 Celica VVT-i which was also bought at 3 years old. I've replaced the wheels with 18" items and fitted lowered suspension. It now looks how it should have from the beginning! It's a lovely package overall. Looks and feels like a much more expensive sports car. Equipment levels are very good with only the Sat Nav missing from our car but this will be fitted by our local dealer. It's just the addition of a small box and software update apparently. They spent a lot of time designing the chassis on this car and it shows when driving. It feels really connected to the road and gives excellent feedback to the driver. Controls are placed spot on and the driving position makes you feel like a racing driver. I think that is one of it's most interesting points, the way it makes you feel when you drive it. The quoted 200ps (197bhp) is more than adequate for the car and do try one for yourself before reading reviews from people saying it's slow etc. Although my Mercedes has nearly twice the power, this is in no way any less fun to drive. Probably more fun overall as you can use more of the power more of the time.
