Toyota GT86 (2012 - 2021) 2.0 2d Owner Review

Sublime sports driving experience for road. Cleverly designed with ample power and tyres on the limit to be playful yet safe (with traction control on) around bends and corners. Perfectly balanced and precise steering. Practical car for family with young children , although still manage to squeeze teenagers in without too much complaint. Never had any major issues with car. None with engine (valve spring recall year before last but still no issues since replaced). Back element of heated seats not as hot as new. Original car battery was replaced by higher rating as would run flat if car not used for a couple of weeks. No issues since replacement. Body work panels very thin and plastic used in places (I think to keep weight down). However no issues with any rust to date. Black metallic paint on my car is prone to stone chipping and obvious due to white undercoat. However, chips never down to bare metal. Sat nav is good as back up, if no signal for phone. Otherwise I prefer to use Phone app. Overall very practical and fun sports car which I still enjoy and am finding difficult to replace after 7 years of ownership.
