Did you get a good deal and why?

Bought using scrappage scheme. Got rid of a perfectly serviceable (and reliable!!) Corolla.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

What was the dealer like?

Bought a servicing package from the dealer which I later realised was a complete rip off because Toyota have a fixed price servicing scheme. Had same issue when booking a service after the package had expired - they quoted me 100's more than I could have got by booking through the Toyota website. Went elsewhere.

What's it like to drive?

Comfortable and refined for such a small car. Gearing is very tall so you have to work the lower gears - perhaps this is why 3rd gear failed?

What's it like to park?

Good. Amazing turning circle.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Gearbox has failed after less than 30000 miles. Toyota garage quoted £2700 to fix. Later reduced with "goodwill" from Toyota to £1300. Too much. Unacceptable fault from manufacturer who claims cars should be "used and abused" (advertising May 2015). Basically, have a 1,000kg piece of junk on my drive.
