Toyota IQ (2009 - 2014) 1.33 Dual VVT-i 3 Leather 3d Owner Review

In their own words
I get bored of cars easily. I change them often, but, surprisingly I've held onto my IQ for nearly two years. It's the 1.3 version and to be honest, I guess the 1.0 may be a better buy. Around town and in winter i average 37mpg. in spring and summer i achieve around 42. However- in contrast- I have been on a run on the motorway and once exceeded and had 61mpg. Pretty good!. The reason why I'd recommend the smaller engine isn't only because of better economy but the six speed gearbox in my car is notchy and problematic. First to second is hard to select. Other than that, what a nice car. Leather seats are lovely and the car is well designed and feels safe. It's far better than the two smart for two I had. They broke down fifteen times in two years...Japanese know how to build cars and the IQ is no exception to that rule. I'd recommend one.
How reliable do you find the car?
Once failed to start- I called the breakdown and mysteriously the car fired. I wondered if it might have been dirty fuel as its been fine since.About their car
