Economy
Value
I didn't have to mortgage a house to pay for it, and it's been the best fun car I've ever had for the least money.
Costs
The fuel economy is good, although go much above a 100 for long as you will notice it become very thirsty. I've had to replace the radiator which wasn't cheap and quit a few bulbs which are generally very cheap.

Driving
Fun to drive, maybe not the best handling, but will make you smile.
Performance
For its age it still has decent performace, although I've been outdragged by a Clio sport 172 which was annoying.

Living with it
Reliability
Very good. Apart from the radiator having to be replaced, which was a general age thing as well as it being in a prone place for stone damage etc. It's never missed a beat. Although mine uses oil this is consistent with its age.
Image
It still looks good despite its age. Better than the other models of MR2. The dark blue interior is still ok, I don't think this looks bad at all.
Comfort
Probably the most comfortable drive i've ever had. I can sit for hours after hours and walk away still with a spring in my step. The driver seat adjustments are excellent and firm. This certainly doesn't suffer with soggy seat syndrome.

Security and Service
Security
Mine has a flashing LED light... not sure if it's attached to an immobiliser or not. Although I park mine in a garage, if you have to park it on the street, I would get more security fitted.
Service
I've onyl ever had it serviced at independent garages.
