Imports have hammered down prices. A lot of car for the money.

Parts not too bad, but fitting them costs the big bucks.

C'mon, you wouldn't be buying this car if you wanted boring.
Performance
Low end is a bit flat, but keep the revs up and the 16-valve engine pulls well.

Bombproof engine. Most other parts wear well.

Needs 17" alloys and drop the suspension to give the best look.
Comfort
Once the alloys and suspension done, it's just for driving, not comfort. Buy a Mondeo if you want comfort!

I have added a Thatcham Cat 2 immobiliser to complement the standard alarm, this helps with insurance also.
Service
Only use Toyota when necessary, so can not really comment. Excellent at getting parts for me, though.

Front support strut bearings collapsing, leaving heavy handling and slight pull to side. Much better when replaced.
