Economy
Value
As has been written before, 90% of the fun of an elise/boxster, at half the price. Fantastic.
Costs
Fuel: About 28mpg (optimax), so about what you'd expect. Running costs: Has been extremely cheap - 2 new sets of tyres (which are sensibly sized so fairly cheap), new pads and new disks (under warranty), plus standard servicing (very reasonably priced).

On the road
Driving
Fantasic fun. Clean, precise steering with constant detailed feedback, superb driving position, and tenacious grip with a progressive and catchable, if quick, breakaway. Needs attention if you're pushing on in the wet!
Performance
Superb traction and feels very strong up to about 60-70, but the moderate power starts to tell a little beyond that. Still perfectly responsive if you put your foot down at 100, but could be better with just a bit more power.

Living with it
Reliability
Bullet-proof so far.
Image
Top down driving in a car like this on a sunny day is just ear to ear grins.
Comfort
I have been very pleasantly suprised how comfortable the seats and legroom are, it's suprisingly good for long journeys. The ride is firm though, and you do feel every bump.

Security and Service
Security
The alarm is great (never once gone off accidentally) if a little quiet, and the car has double-locking. However, a soft-top is never going to be hard to get into.
Service
Toyota dealer has been quick, efficient and helpful whenever I've been in.
