Economy
Value
Fantastic amount of car for the money.
Costs
Be prepared for woeful mpg. Staggering repair costs if they go wrong, which thankfully isn't very often.

On the road
Driving
Commanding driving position means that you look down on everyone else. Very easy to drive, especially considering it is so huge. Very light power steering. Column shift auto box is easy - never buy a manual as they are dire.
Performance
Not bad, considering its size. Great motorway eater, the miles just slip by.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Toyota - can't beat it, except for the brakes which need tlc.
Image
It is an MPV, who cares about image. However, as it is the size of a small truck it is a bit more imposing on the road.
Comfort
Big armchairs in the front and a couple of sofas in the back. Can seat 8, very comfy for 6 (with all their luggage).

Security and Service
Security
Fit an alarm.
Service
Use a specialist as they are cheaper and just as good.

Problems and Ownership

Other
Brakes need watching. Wiper blades are frighteningly expensive and rust around rear wiper where it attaches to the bodywork.
